12-Day Grand Tour of Morocco

Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the Place des Nations and the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, located by the sea. We will continue our journey to Rabat, visiting the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We will end our day in the small Atlantic Ocean-facing village of Asilah. Overnight stay in a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will visit the Caves of Hercules and the Spartel Lighthouse in Tangier. We will continue to the colonial city of Tetouan for a panoramic tour and end in the stunning blue city of Chefchaouen for free time. Accommodation in a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. Free time in the morning to explore the town of Chefchaouen, famous for its white and indigo-blue painted medina. In the afternoon, we will depart for Meknes to visit the magnificent Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, adorned with beautiful mosaics, and its imposing Bab Mansour gate. Our itinerary will continue to Fez. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will discover the imperial city of Fez. We will begin our visit at the golden gates of the Royal Palace, and then, from a high point in the city, we will contemplate the great wall that encloses the astonishing ancient wall, which we will later explore to experience the different sensations the city has to offer.

Along the narrow streets, we will discover mosques and madrasas until we enter the tanners' quarter, where we will witness the tanning and dyeing of leather.

Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation in a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will depart for Midelt via Ifrane, also known as Little Switzerland. We will stop and rest in the cedar forest of Azrou, where we will enjoy watching monkeys in their natural habitat. Then, we will continue our journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt. We will then cross the Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, from where we will follow a road that leads to the desert and travel through the dunes to the Kasbah. Dinner and overnight stay in a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. A day reserved for enjoying, delighting, and experiencing the desert in its purest form, we will begin our day in Hassilabied, where we will enter a palm grove created and cared for by the entire community. We will continue our journey through the dunes and desert trails that pass through Merzouga. We will travel back in time when we visit the small village of Khamlia, inhabited by nomads from sub-Saharan Africa. Here, we will listen to some African folk music. Gnawa, and the locals will accompany us on a tour of their village.

At night, we will board a dromedary and travel deeper into the heart of the desert. We will lose ourselves in its immensity to spend a night under the stars in Khaima, just like the authentic Berber people, with whom we will enjoy drum music and a typical dinner.

We'll wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert and continue along a road with spectacular panoramic views that surrounds the Erg Chebbi dunes. We'll have breakfast and rest a bit in a hotel before heading to Rissani to enjoy its colorful souk, visit the Tafilalet palm grove, and cross the Todra Gorge, ending our route in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will spend the morning visiting the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for being the setting for major films such as Gladiator, among others. We will continue our journey through the Atlas Mountains and the Telouet Valley, finally arriving in Marrakech. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will enjoy a city tour, visiting the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque and the Saadian tombs. We will take a charming walk through the alleys of the medina, joining the crowds until we reach the Bahia Palace and its beautiful gardens, ending at the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight at a Hotel /Riad

Breakfast. Free time in Marrakech and departure for Casablanca. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.
