12-Day Tour of Morocco

Breakfast. This day is dedicated to discovering the imperial city of Fez. We will begin our visit at the golden gates of the Royal Palace, and then, from a high point in the city, we will contemplate the great wall that encloses the astonishing ancient medina, which we will later explore to experience the different sensations the city has to offer.

Along the narrow streets, we will discover mosques and madrasas until we enter the tanners' quarter, where we will witness the tanning and dyeing of leather.

Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation in a hotel/riad.

Breakfast. We will depart for Midelt, passing through Ifrane, known as Little Switzerland. We will stop and rest in the cedar forest of Azrou, where we can enjoy watching monkeys in their natural habitat. Then, we will continue our journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains to reach Midelt. We will cross the Ziz Valley and its gorges to reach Erfoud, from where we will follow a road that leads to the desert and travel through the dunes to the Kasbah. Dinner and overnight stay at the Kasbah.

Breakfast. A day reserved for enjoying, delighting, and experiencing the desert in its purest form, we will begin our day in the village of Hassilabied, where we will enter a palm grove created and cared for by the entire community. We will continue our journey through the dunes and desert trails that pass through Merzouga and travel back in time when we visit the small village of Khamlia, inhabited by nomads from sub-Saharan Africa. Here, we will listen to African Gnawa folk music, and the locals will accompany us on a tour of their village. At night, we will board a camel and travel to the heart of the desert, losing ourselves in its immensity with the goal of spending a night under the stars in Khaima, just like the authentic Berber people, with whom we will enjoy drum music and a typical dinner.

We'll wake up early to watch the sunrise over the desert, and along the way, we'll appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. We'll have breakfast and rest a bit at the hotel before heading to Rissani to enjoy its colorful souk. We'll visit the Tafilalet palm grove and cross the Todra Gorge, ending our route in the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/riad.

Breakfast. We'll start early, crossing the Atlas Mountains, where we'll discover the nomadic inhabitants who still live in caves as in the past. Then, we'll lose ourselves among the scents of the Valley of Roses, the Skoura palm grove, and its kasbahs until we reach Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/riad.

Breakfast. We will spend the morning visiting the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for being the setting for major films such as Game of Thrones, among others. After lunch, we will continue our journey through the Atlas Mountains to finally arrive in Marrakech. Overnight at a hotel or riad.

Breakfast. We'll start the day heading to the Ouzoud Falls, located northeast of Marrakech. Once we arrive at this natural paradise, we'll take some time to enjoy the country's most famous waterfalls. (named after the olive grove that surrounds this place, ouzou, meaning olive tree in Berber). In the afternoon, we'll continue to Casablanca. Arrival and overnight stay at a hotel/riad.

Breakfast. Free day to relax and enjoy the white and indigo-blue city, with its winding streets and beautiful natural surroundings.
