15-Day Grand Tour of Morocco

Upon arrival at the airport, we'll pick you up and drive to Casablanca, where you'll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest and most spectacular mosque in Africa, overlooking the sea. A true architectural gem. The Lighthouse of the Atlantic.

Then we'll depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we'll visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, before checking into your riad in the heart of the medina. Overnight stay in the riad.

Breakfast. We travel to Assilah, on the Atlantic coast, to enjoy a small whitewashed village with a historic medina. We continue to Tangier, where we have free time. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. We travel through the Rif Mountains to reach the colonial city of Tetouan. We will have free time in the city center and continue the rest of the day at leisure in the famous blue city of Chefchaouen. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. En route to Meknes, another important imperial city of Morocco, known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco. In Meknes, you will see the famous Bab Mansour Gate, the Sahrij Swani Basin, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. After lunch, your journey will continue to Volubilis, the best-preserved site of Roman ruins, dating back to 25 BC. You will then continue to Fez through the foothills of the Rif Mountains, arriving there in the late afternoon. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will explore the oldest city in Morocco.

Our tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, and the first Mellah built in Morocco. We will ensure you visit all the sites of cultural and historical interest, including the famous Karaounie University, the oldest in the region, the tanneries, and the Attarine Museum.

After lunch, you will visit the ceramics factory and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the entire Fez medina. Overnight at a Hotel/Riad.

Breakfast. We will leave Fez for Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village known as Little Switzerland. Along the way, we will enjoy the wonderful landscapes of these mountains. During this journey, you will experience glimpses of the Middle and High Atlas Mountains.

With a stop in Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest (the largest in Morocco), you may have the opportunity to see some Barbary apes.

We will then cross the Tizi N'talghamt Pass to Merzouga, passing through Errachidia and Erfoud. You will travel through the Ziz Gorge, enjoying the views of the High Atlas plateau, noting how the landscape changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Here, you'll have lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality, then travel along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping to enjoy panoramic views on the way to Erfoud. Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, it's time for your camel ride, as you set out to explore the Merzouga sand dunes. Dinner will be served in front of your overnight tent.

We will wake up early in the morning to see what may be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, we will return by camel to the village of Merzouga, admiring the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which change with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast, you will depart for the typical market of the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, through the Dades Valley, where you will see the majestic sandcastles and the incredible rock formations known as "monkey toes." Overnight in a Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. We will head through the Dades Valley toward Kalaa M'gouna and Ourzazate. The route through the Dades Valley is the Route of 1000 Kasbahs, which offers numerous opportunities to take some of the best photos of the trip. We will stop in Kalaa M'gouna, the city of roses, where you can buy the famous rose water. Then we will continue to the palm grove of Skoura, Ourzazate, the Hollywood of Africa, to visit the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, the authentic kasbah that has been a film script for movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. We will head to Taroudant via Taznakht, stopping in Taliounie to visit the Safran cooperative. If your visit coincides with the saffron harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet Berber women and their families harvesting saffron in the fields. We should arrive in Taroudant in the afternoon, where you will see the walls and walk through the narrow alleys of the medina. Taroudant is often referred to as Little Marrakech, because most of its walls were built by the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century before they moved to the great red city, Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at a Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. We will head to Essaouira via Agadir, where we will stop for lunch. Agadir has a large, beautiful beach and has been a tourist destination for many years. There, we will take a short walk along the seafront before continuing to Essaouira. The coastal route offers beautiful scenery, an area famous for its argan trees. Along the way, you will see herds of goats climbing the argan trees in search of riper food. Overnight at a Hotel /Riad.
Breakfast. You will visit the Skala fortress, the port, the souks, and the Thuya wood carved by artisans. You will walk through the alleys of the medina and browse the hundreds of craft shops. Essaouira is known for its strong winds most of the year, which is why it is known as the Windy City, attracting surfers from around the world. Essaouira has seen many civilizations, including the Portuguese occupation, which is evident in much of its architecture. However, it remains a small town steeped in history. Due to its size and its characteristic blue doors and whitewashed walls, it is also considered the "Jewel of the Atlantic." Our visit includes the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, and the beach. There is an annual Gnawa music festival where many musical groups from around the world and Africa gather. It usually begins the third week of June, so if your trip coincides with this, you have the option to extend your trip for another day. Today you will have a Moroccan-style lunch, with freshly prepared fish. The afternoon is free to walk and explore on your own. Overnight stay in a Hotel /Riad.

Breakfast. We depart for Marrakech.

On our way, as we are in the land of argan culture, we have the opportunity to visit the women's argan oil cooperative, where they extract the oil, famous for its culinary, cosmetic, and medicinal properties. After several photo stops, you will continue your journey to Marrakech before checking into your riad. After dinner, you will enjoy a stroll through the famous Jemaa el Fna square.

Overnight at the riad.

Breakfast. We will explore Marrakech, Morocco's red city. Your guide will ensure you see the most important historical and cultural sites, including the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Ben Youssef Koranic School. Free time. Overnight at your Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. We depart for Casablanca, passing through the most interesting villages and landscapes in a land of picturesque greenery, dotted with wooded hills, ideal for a pleasant trip. Upon arrival, we visit the city, the country's economic capital, United Nations Square, Mohammed V Avenue, and the exterior of the beautiful Hassan II Mosque, located by the sea. Overnight stay in a Hotel/Riad.
Breakfast. Free time until the scheduled departure to Casablanca Airport.
